As a part of the Alva’s College of Nursing and Alva’s Institute of Nursing Sciences, Moodbidri Alumni Association Inaugural Function, a guest talk was organized on the topic
“Communication Excellence – From Classroom to Clinical Practice”. The session was delivered by Ms. Sujaya Kotian, a distinguished alumnus of Alva’s College of Nursing,
currently serving as Associate Professor at K. Pandyrajah Ballal College of Nursing, Mangalore.

The session aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical practice by emphasizing the importance of communication skills in patient care, team collaboration, and professional conduct.
The talk was followed by a lively interaction with students. Students and faculty appreciated the relevance of the session.

It equipped future healthcare professionals with insights that go beyond textbooks, stressing the human side of clinical care.
