Institutional Committees

1. Curriculum Committee

The Curriculum Committee is established to oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of academic programs. NATURE OF ACTIVITIES:

The Library Committee serves as an advisory body that supports the effective operation, development, and strategic planning of the library. The committee advocates for resources, promotes equitable access to information, and ensures that the library’s services and collections align with the academic and informational needs of the community.

The Research Committee is established to promote, support, and oversee research activities within the institution. The committee ensures that research efforts are ethical, impactful, and aligned with institutional priorities, while fostering a culture of inquiry, innovation, and scholarly excellence.

5. Student Welfare & Grievance Committee

The Student Welfare & Grievance Committee is formed to safeguard the rights and well-being of students by promoting a supportive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. The committee addresses student concerns, resolves grievances in a timely and just manner, and recommends policies that enhance student life and holistic development.

6. Staff Welfare & Development Committee

The Staff Welfare & Development Committee is established to promote the well-being, professional growth, and overall satisfaction of staff members. The committee supports initiatives that foster a positive work environment, encourage continuous learning, and ensure that staff are recognized, valued, and equipped to contribute effectively to the institution’s mission.

FUNCTIONS:

7. Anti-Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee is established to prevent, monitor, and respond to incidents of ragging within the institution. It upholds the commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment, free from any form of harassment, intimidation, or abuse.

8. Recreation and Sports Committee

The Recreation and Sports Committee is established to promote physical wellness, team spirit, and a balanced lifestyle by organizing and overseeing recreational and athletic activities. The committee encourages active participation in sports and leisure programs, fostering holistic development and community engagement.

9. Women’s Welfare Committee

The Women’s Welfare Committee is constituted to safeguard the rights, dignity, and well-being of women within the institution. The committee is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for women through awareness, support services, and policy advocacy.

10. Discipline Committee

The Discipline Committee is responsible for maintaining order, decorum, and discipline within the institution. It ensures adherence to institutional rules and regulations and addresses breaches through appropriate measures, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.

The Student Counseling Committee is established to support the mental, emotional, and psychological well-being of students by providing guidance, counseling services, and resources.
