STUDENT COUNSELING COMMITTEE

The Student Counseling Committee is established to support the mental, emotional, and psychological well-being of students by providing guidance, counseling services, and resources. The committee aims to create a safe and supportive environment where students can seek help for personal, academic, and social challenges.

  • Develop and oversee counseling services, including one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and workshops.
  • Promote awareness of mental health issues and reduce the stigma around seeking help.
  • Identify and address student needs related to stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
  • Provide a confidential and non-judgmental space for students to express their concerns and receive support.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments to identify students in need of support and offer appropriate interventions.
  • Coordinate with external mental health professionals or organizations as necessary.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and programs on stress management, coping strategies, and mental health awareness.
  • Ensure that counseling services are accessible to all students, regardless of background or circumstances.
